Emmaus Ministry Resources Youth [or
EMRyouth] is a ministry of Emmaus
Bible College designed to serve those
serving youth through the utilization of
leadership resources, networking and
partnership between local churches in
efforts to support their youth.
Jim Callahan
Jim is the pastoral worker at Bethany
Chapel in Wheaton, Illinois, and teaches
religion at Elmhurst College. He has a
Ph.D. in religious studies (that's why
some people call him Dr. Callahan), and
he's written a couple of books and a
dozen journal articles about the history of
Christian faith. Jim preaches most
Sundays, writes a weekly e-letter about
Christian faith, and leads a Bible study.
He's been coming to Lake Geneva for 28
years as a counselor, dishwasher, teen
staff supervisor and speaker.
Jeff Riley
Jeff grew up along the Rocky Mountains
in Loveland, Colorado.  Jeff earned his
bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies
from Emmaus Bible College [‘01] and is
currently pursuing a M.A. in Christian
Education at Dallas Theological
Seminary. He's spent over eleven years
in full-time youth ministry working with
teens where he has been heavily
involved in discipleship and student
leadership development. Jeff has
recently returned to Emmaus as the
EMRyouth Director, serving and
supporting youth leaders throughout the
U.S. He and his wife of 11 years,
Jeanette have four children-Josiah (8),
Maddie (6), Jesse (4) and Gracie (1).
